A spring refresh with cast plaster.
Spring is a good time to change a room without changing much. A new dish by the door, a bowl on the table, a tray to gather the small things; cast plaster pieces do this quietly and cost little next to a bigger change.
We cast in soft tones that suit the lighter season. Blush, sage and lilac lift a shelf without shouting, and ivory and dove grey keep things calm. Each piece is finished by hand in a matte tone, so it settles into a room rather than standing apart from it.
A few easy places to start. A Bloom Bowl or Daisy Dish on a side table. A Petal Dish for rings and small things by the basin. A wave tray to hold a candle and a book beside the bed. None of it is precious. All of it is made to be used.
When the days run long, the point is less clutter and more light. The homeware is cast in small batches in Midrand, and new tones come and go with the season.
